I switched my plan and it was no hassle at all... quick and easy

I’ve been using Trend Micro for a while now, mostly on my laptop that I use for work, random browsing, and way too many recipe tabs. The real-time protection seems to do its job well, it catches things right away without making everything slow or annoying. I haven’t had any weird popups, crashes, or random issues so far. it just kind of runs in the background and lets me get on with my day, which is exactly what I wanted

It was cheap enough, and it works fine for what I need. Not anything fancy, but I’m happy with it.

I canceled my Trend Micro plan and asked for a refund. To be fair, it did get sorted out in the end, so I’m not saying they ignored me or anything. I just had to contact support and wait a few days between replies, which felt like more hassle than it needed to be. The money showed back up after about a week. Overall it was fine, but the cancellation process could be simpler.

I was locked out and getting impatient, but support got back to me faster than I expected. They stuck with me until I could log in again, which was a relief because I just wanted it fixed already. Overall, better experience than I thought it’d be.

Getting it installed took me way longer than I expected. The installer kept popping up with questions, and I ended up having to restart twice. It’s working fine now, so I can’t say it doesn’t do the job, but the setup definitely wasn’t smooth...

I mainly bought this because I wanted something simple for parental controls, but it’s been more frustrating than helpful because websites still manage to slip through, the settings are confusing to figure out, and every time I think I’ve got it set up right I end up having to mess with it again, so at this point it just doesn’t feel worth the hassle.

It works well overall and has blocked a few phishing pages for me. It’s not something I think about much, but it seems to do its job when needed, if that makes sense...

I’m not feeling very confident about my data with this. Maybe I’m being picky, but privacy is one of those things that should feel solid right away, not like something I have to cross my fingers and hope is fine. It just gives me a bad vibe, and that’s frustrating because I shouldn’t have to second-guess where my information is going or how it’s being handled.

It missed a few threats for me, so I’m kinda not feeling super confident in it

I really wanted to like this, but it missed a ransomware threat once, which is hard to overlook. When I tried to get help, support was slow, and what frustrated me even more was that I couldn’t seem to reach an actual person. It felt like I was just stuck dealing with automated replies when I really needed human help

Overall, this password manager has been good for me. It was easy to set up, and the autofill works most of the time without much hassle. My only real complaint is that the browser popup can be a bit slow, which gets annoying after a while. If that doesn’t improve, I might start looking at other options, but for now it’s doing the job.

I’ve been using Trend Micro VPN for a few weeks now, and overall it’s been good. It connects fast most of the time, which I like, especially when I’m on public Wi-Fi. I mainly use it for browsing and YouTube, and it handles that fine. The app is also easy to figure out, no weird setup or anything. Speeds do drop a bit depending on the server, though, and sometimes the connection feels like it could be a little more stable. Not a huge problem, just noticeable here and there. I’d probably give it 4 stars for now...

The interface is fine overall, but it feels a bit cluttered to me. Not terrible, just could be cleaner :)

Trend Micro has worked fine for me overall, but the renewal was frustrating. I didn’t realize how much the auto-renewal was going to cost until it already charged my card. I contacted support and they did help in the end, but I was stuck waiting longer than I expected, which made the whole thing more annoying. It’s not a terrible service, I just wish the renewal pricing was more obvious upfront.

I’ve been using it for a bit, but it keeps flagging or blocking things that seem completely fine. It gets frustrating quickly because I end up having to double-check or work around it more than I’d like. I get that it’s trying to be safe, but it just leaves me feeling annoyed more than protected.

I’ve been using Trend Micro and it’s been okay overall, but the scan speed on my laptop is frustrating. A full scan takes way too long and makes everything feel like it’s frozen while it’s running. I was just trying to do a quick check and ended up waiting around forever, which was annoying. It’s not a terrible program, but that part was weird

The alerts come through fast and they’re usually helpful, so I do feel safer leaving it on. That said, sometimes it throws too many popups at me for little things, which gets annoying. I’ll admit, right after I paid I was a bit distrustful and wondered if it would actually be worth it, but so far it’s been useful overall.

I had a frustrating time trying to find basic settings on Trend Micro. The site feels kind of all over the place, and a few pages just kept taking me in circles, which was ridiculous for something that should be simple. Installing it was fine, but managing my account and figuring out what plan I had was way more annoying than expected. It works, but the whole experience could definitely be easier.

I feel good knowing Trend Micro is catching threats and keeping my laptop protected, so that part is reassuring. But then I get frustrated when a scan starts because everything suddenly feels sluggish. Apps take longer to open, the fan gets loud, and I’m just sitting there waiting when I’m trying to get work done. For the price, it’s not bad at all, and I don’t regret using it. I just really wish it ran a bit lighter in the background.
